Opened in 2000, the Hickman County Detention Center consists of a secure jail and restricted custody center. The secure jail houses 37 pretrial detainees and medium custody inmates. The restricted custody center houses 56 community and minimum custody inmates that participate in the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Community Work Service program.
